Diner En Blanc Orlando 2018

Updated: Nov 15, 2018

This was my first time attending Diner En Blanc in Orlando and it was AWESOME! Diner En Blanc is an exclusive all white picnic style pop up event! If this sounds like something you are interested in, keep reading to get all the details so you can attend the following year!

My friend Sarah and I made a day trip to Orlando to check out the event! I was invited as Media but I wanted to experience the event as an attendee and it was such a unique and really fun experience! Below is us on the bus to the secret location! Everyone meets at various spots where everyone is then taken on a bus to the secret location. You can not drive to the location, you have to take the bus!

Diner En Blanc Orlando was held at Cranes Roost park in Altamonte Springs. This place is next to the water and made a beautiful spot! I couldn't believe how pretty everything was! So many cool photo opps since everything is white and everyone is dressed in white from head to toe!

You can bring your own food or order from their estore prior to the event. We opted to purchase from the estore since it was our first year and we didn't want to worry about food preparation. The estore prices are also very good! Our vegetarian meal (pictured below) was $50 for two people! At Diner En Blanc people had all sorts of food from Olive Garden take out (BEST IDEA EVER), to estore foods, to CRAB LEGS!

Once everyone is seated and all the tablescapes are completed, they announce the waving of the white napkins which means... its time to eat! I was a little worried that we wouldn't have enough time to set up and take pictures but they allow plenty of time for all of this! After eating everyone gets sparklers which means.. its time to dance! During dinner there are also lots of little things going on. There was a saxophone player, jugglers, singers, and dancers!
